I love staying here! I always feel so welcome and there's an overall clean feeling to it. The room are so comfy! Special shout out to Miguel at the front desk. Very helpful and kind!

A good location within easy driving distance of the Poughkeepsie Galleria and other shopping and restaurants. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot with a back entrance behind the bank at the light as well as front entrances. The room was clean, the bed was a little soft for us but still comfortable enough. There is a big screen TV and mini refrigerator in the room. Outlets and USB plug ins are thoughtfully located beside the bed and at the side of the dresser/tv stand as well as at the desk so there’s plenty of space to charge all your devices. The AC is efficient and warmed the room quickly when the temperatures dropped at night. The negatives: the sink could have a little more counter space, it doesn’t have space for more than a couple of toothbrushes. The rooms aren’t very well noise insulated - there was a wedding going on and we got to be woken up by the party-goers in the hallway. I also got to hear our neighbor’s music playing through the bathroom wall. The staff were great. Friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants etc.

The rooms are slightly dated but overall very good value. Service has been very good and breakfast has been better then most. The hotel is on a busy road but sound transmission is minimal.

The Hampton Inn of Poughkeepsie is top notch! From check in to check out the process was flawless. We stayed new years eve which was a very busy night at this location as they partnered with a local restaurant to provide a discounted rate for the stay and complimentary transportation to and from the venue. Although I was not there for this event I was given the full attention to detail and assurance that my stay would be a pleasurable experience. The staff handled the busy hotel by with patience and professionalism. Upon arriving to my room I couldn't help but notice we were in the culinary institute of America suite. My husband is in operations at the CIA so needless to say he was thrilled to have had this suite. The suite was clean, spacious and well stocked. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the pillows were to die for! Although we are locals to the area we were looking for dining suggestions and the front desk suggested Texas Roadhouse and offered me a coupon for 10% off for being a guest at the hotel. This was an added perk for choosing this hotel. I was super excited to be offered this discount as I am the senior ma5at the

Parking was easy and the property felt safe and well cared for. Service throughout the stay was excellent. Staff members were always polite and ready to help with anything needed, which really adds to the overall experience. Overall, this Hampton Inn & Suites delivers exactly what travelers hope for: a clean, comfortable room, friendly service, and a convenient location. My husband and I chose the Hampton Inn & Suites in Poughkeepsie for our wedding guests to stay at during our wedding weekend. The director of sales and marketing, Indira Naidu, was so helpful with our planning. She made sure everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our guests. She helped us set up an after party on the back patio - it was a great atmosphere and our guests had a great time continuing the celebrations at the hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus for us and our guests! Thank you to Indira and the rest of the team at the Hampton Inn & Suites for helping make our wedding weekend perfect!

Stayed on a top floor suite upgrade on Sunday night. It was pleasant. Spacious, clean room. Hope to be back. I noticed a few things like a wall thermostat issue and a flickering light bulb, staff were responsive to offer relief

We are very happy with our decision to book our wedding courtesy hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suites Poughkeepsie. Communication between me, Indira, and Peter was always quick and easy via email, which made the entire process simple. Many of our guests utilized the block for both the night before and the night of our wedding, filling all 20 standard rooms and 2 suites, and we were even able to add 5 additional standard rooms as needed. We also booked the Liberty Room for our ceremony rehearsal, which was clean, set up exactly as needed, and perfect for our group. In addition, we hosted a small welcome gathering in the breakfast area by the lobby, which worked out wonderfully and was a great space for guests to mingle. The only thing we wish had been different was having the hotel block rooms located closer together, as our guests were spread out across different floors. However, this was a minor inconvenience overall, and the experience was still very positive.
